Half Moon in Montego Bay offers guests three distinct accommodation experiences: Founders Cove, Eclipse at Half Moon, and the Villas at Half Moon. Each section of Half Moon offers different layouts, amenities, and guest experiences, giving visitors to this 5-star Jamaica resort a variety of ways to stay on the property’s 400 beachfront acres.

Following Hurricane Melissa in October 2025, Half Moon temporarily closed. Eclipse at Half Moon and the newly reimagined Villas at Half Moon officially reopened on April 2, 2026, and are now welcoming reservations, while Founders Cove is scheduled to reopen in a later phase of restoration at Half Moon.

Guests currently holding a reservation in Founders Cove at Half Moon are being contacted directly by the resort’s reservations team to review their options, which include transferring the stay to Eclipse at Half Moon while Founders Cove completes its restoration.
